Allergies

Allergic reactions manifest themselves in an almost limitless variety of ways. Hayfever, asthma, rhinitis, rashes and other skin problems, fatigue, hyperactivity, depression, digestive and bowel problems, arthritis and joint problems, migraines and headaches, fluid retention and bloating, insomnia and sleep disorders, attention deficit and learning disorders, and a host of other symptoms can all be due to allergies. Many people develop allergies later in life.

Many factors contribute to make the body more susceptible to allergic reactions. These include: The overuse of antibiotics which cause Candida overgrowth, medical drugs which affect the liver, depletion of vital minerals caused by poor or unbalanced diet, excess alcohol and drug taking. It is important in the short term to identify the allergens and remove them from the diet but this is not enough. The existence of allergies is a symptom of and underlying problem which causes the body to react in this way.

Nutritional therapy can help identify the causes of your allergy and provide a diet and supplements to help with your individual problems.
